BEAUTIFUL HAND CRAFTED WESTERN RED CEDAR DRIFTWOOD FIREPLACE MANTEL with SHELF

Dimensions: 58" x 12" x 7"

The Western Red Cedar Driftwood Mantel was reclaimed from a log that was used as part of the frame for a dock or pier. The driftwood log was found along the shore of one of N. Idaho's natural pristine lakes. The top of the log has been planed at a 90° angle to the back providing a level shelf. The surface has been sanded down to 400 grit sand paper. The finish was applied by hand rubbing several coats of teak oil into the wood and then sealed by hand rubbing a satin wipe on polyurethane sealer to protect and enhance the natural color of the wood.
