Driftwood Arbor/Chuppah designed and handcrafted by myself from hand picked driftwood gathered off the shores of North Idaho's pristine lakes. The Driftwood Arbor is self standing and can be setup with or without the chuppah extension.
The arbor consists of two pre assembled sides two cross supports with braces on each end and a trellis top Each side has two 86" uprights attached together with several driftwood sticks.. The sides are attached to each other with two 84' cross supports. a 5/16" bolt with washers and wingnut is used to secure the connections.. The cross support has a driftwood stick on each end that acts as a brace when attached to the sides. The braces are attached with wood screws. The trellis top consists of three 84' poles attached together with three 13" cross braces using wood screws. The trellis top rests on the top of each side.
The chuppah extension consists of two 86" uprights one 84" back cross support two 68" side cross supports and 6 26" braces. One end of each of the two cross side supports connects to a back side upright. on the arbor. All connections are pre drilled. All hardware is included.
The arbor can be used with or without the chuppah extension.
Stake kit option:
Either the two or four stake kits are recommended for windy conditions, setup on uneven terrain and for placing the arbor in a permanent location. The kit also aids in the assembly process.
The stake kits consists of two ($55) or four ($95) 1/2" x 32" steel stakes (rebar). The bottom end of each upright to be staked is modified by drilling a 3/4" hole 12" deep and lined with steel tubing.
The stakes are placed and driven into the ground leaving 12" exposed above the surface. The bottom of the upright slides down over the top of a stake. The stakes are hidden from view and the upright is secured to the ground and wont tip over. Once staked the upright and the side it is attached to is self standing. The stake kit aids in the setup process by eliminating the need to support the sides while assembling the arbor. This enables one person to set up the arbor with less effort and fewer items.
The two stake kit ($55) consists of two 1/2” x 32” steel stakes. The front left and right uprights are modified for the stakes.
Either the two or four stake kit will prevent the arbor from tipping over. The four stake kit provides more stability.
Tools required: hammer (preferably a 2 - 3lb sledge hammer).
All Bolt Option:
If the arbor/chuppah will be used at different venues and/or rented out several times the all bolt upgrade is recommend. If the arbor will only be setup and taken down three or fewer times then the bolt upgrade isn't necessary.
The upgrade replaces the wood screws used to attach the braces with 5/16" bolts, washers and wing nuts. The bolt option increases the longevity of the driftwood compared to using wood screws which have a tendency to tear up the wood every time the chuppah is setup and taken down.
Tools required: None however a 5/16" socket wrench is recommended

All driftwood has been hand picked from North Idaho lakes. Our driftwood is not chemically treated in anyway. It has been washed in plain water and air dried.

RETURNS:
Buyer must contact seller via email within 14 days of package arrival date.. Item must be unused and in same condition as when received. Item must be returned in original packaging. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges.
Sales items, custom orders, gift cards, made to order, raw driftwood and personalized items are not eligible for return. We care about your satisfaction. If you have a problem with an order please contact me and I will try to resolve the issue.
ITEMS DAMAGED DURING TRANSIT:
If the item was damaged during transit. Contact me asap. Please take pictures of the packaging and of the damaged item. Please keep the packaging material. The images and packaging material are required by the insurance provider in order to file a claim. Items are shipped fully insured. Items damaged during transit will be repaired or replaced.
For items damaged after arrival please contact me if you want replacements or help with repairs.
